September 1, 2008British music channel Scuzz TV conducted interviews with various members of SLIPKNOT during the recently completed Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour. Watch the footage below.
SLIPKNOT's new album, "All Hope Is Gone", has registered the following first-week chart positions so far:
Australia: #1
UK: #2
Ireland: #3
Norway: #3
The band has a chance to debut at No. 1 on next week's Billboard album chart, but will face competition from rapper THE GAME, according to Hits Daily Double. "All Hope Is Gone" is reportedly on target to sell between 230,000 and 250,000 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release, with THE GAME's new one, "LAX", predicted to possibly do just as well. SLIPKNOT's last effort, 2004's "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)", moved 243,000 copies upon its release to enter the chart at No. 2.
The first single and video from "All Hope Is Gone" is called "Psychosocial".
SLIPKNOT was forced to cancel several European festival appearances as well as performances for MTV Europe and Virgin TV after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle and was advised to rest for four to six weeks.
SLIPKNOT recently completed the first Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour with co-headliners DISTURBED and will return to North American stages in January.
